Born and raised in Northern California, ImaniJC contributes to the diversity of characters in media through digital illustration. Working primarily in Photoshop, she enjoys creating worlds both explored and imagined, and placing marginalized protagonists into them. Her work has been displayed in Microsoft, Colony Square, South Fulton Community Center, Spelman College and others. Interested in the creation of a safe place for children of color, ImaniJC’s work signifies the acceptance of one’s self and creates a space where those who question their identity/potential and are able to flourish through representation.
